I am Tara, the girl who always draws the short end of the stick, no matter how well I play the game.


My very existence an unbearable burden, my birth mother gave up the fight for me before I had a name. It was easier for her to not put a name to It, because then, It, was a thing to be forgotten. She didn’t need a name tugging at her heartstrings whenever she hears someone use it.


So, my life started as the thing that must not be discussed. That was the plan anyway, but everyone knows that even the best laid plans can go wrong.
